What it does
CG 34 47 modifies the Owners And Contractors Protective Liability Coverage Part. It excludes bodily injury and property damage arising out of cannabis activities and exposure, and property damage to cannabis, with an exception for consumption by a "contractor" or others the insured is responsible for unless the insured or contractor sold or furnished it. If the Principals Protective Liability Coverage endorsement is attached, a cannabis exclusion is added there as well. Hemp-derived goods are excepted, as in CG 40 15.
Who needs it
Contractors and owners buying OCP coverage for hemp processing or CBD facility projects.
Key provisions and limits
- Same "cannabis" definition as the CGL forms (any THC or other cannabinoid).
