What it does

CG 34 32 modifies the Owners And Contractors Protective Liability Coverage Part. It replaces the OCP pollution exclusion (exclusion j.) with a total pollution exclusion for bodily injury or property damage that would not have occurred but for the release of pollutants at any time, plus cleanup cost and governmental claim exclusions.

Who needs it

Owners and contractors buying OCP coverage for projects involving demolition, remediation or similar pollution exposures.

Key provisions and limits

  • Same wording approach as CG 21 49, adapted to the OCP form's exclusion lettering.

Quoting and selling notes

  • Not a duplicate of CG 21 49; use only on OCP policies.
  • OCP policies are usually issued for one project and one contractor; keep the policy period aligned with the contract duration and confirm the owner or agency has accepted the carrier before work starts.
