What it does
CX 34 13 is part of ISO's 2025 umbrella and excess endorsement filing (CU-2025-OMMFR, 01 26 edition). It adds the "Human Trafficking" exclusion to the excess form, matching CU 34 71 on the umbrella.
Who needs it
Lodging and other businesses carriers view as exposed.
How it fits the excess layer
The ISO excess form follows the provisions, exclusions and limitations of the controlling underlying insurance unless the excess form or an endorsement says otherwise. Excess endorsements therefore either add a restriction the underlying does not have, or adjust how the excess layer follows the underlying. Check every CX endorsement on a quote against the underlying policy so the layers line up.
Quoting and selling notes
- Check that the underlying and umbrella layers carry the matching exclusion and explain any gap.
