What it does
CG 22 31 excludes "bodily injury", "property damage" and "personal and advertising injury" arising out of (1) riot, civil commotion or mob action, or (2) any act or omission in connection with the prevention or suppression of a riot, civil commotion or mob action.

Cities and counties, especially those with police departments.

- Public entity liability programs often handle these exposures under law enforcement liability.
- Many public entities insure through risk pools or self-insurance; when an ISO CGL is used, review the full set of governmental endorsements together so road, police and riot exposures are placed somewhere.
