What it does
CG 21 38 states that Coverage B does not apply and none of the references to it in the coverage part apply. Libel, slander, false arrest, wrongful eviction, privacy and advertising injury offenses are all uninsured.
Who needs it
Used for publishers, advertising agencies, broadcasters, collection agencies, security firms and similar risks, or as a pricing concession.
Key provisions and limits
- Removes the personal and advertising injury limit.
Quoting and selling notes
- Retailers (false arrest), landlords (wrongful eviction) and any business that advertises lose meaningful coverage. Look for media liability or another market.
- Ask about advertising, social media, websites, security staff and evictions before accepting this form; each creates Coverage B exposure.
