What it does

CA 99 59 extends garagekeepers coverage to customers' sound-receiving equipment (radios and similar audio equipment) in autos in the insured's care. In Massachusetts, for example, it provides comprehensive (excluding theft) and collision coverage for sound receiving equipment in a garage's care, custody or control, priced from the garagekeepers rates.

ISO's 2026 multistate forms revision (CA-2026-OFR26) introduces a 09 27 edition of this form, approved for policies effective on or after September 1, 2027 in states where it has been adopted; the prior edition remains in use until then and in states that have not adopted the revision.

Who needs it

Repair shops, body shops and dealers that work on vehicles with aftermarket or high-value audio equipment.
