What it does
FL 04 11 appears in many carrier farm filings as the Basic Farm Premises Liability endorsement, and ISO's MSAWPA exclusion (FL 01 16) lists the basic farm premises liability endorsement among the forms it modifies.
Who needs it
Farms that want lower-cost liability limited to premises exposures, often landowners or small farms.
Quoting and selling notes
Compare with broad farm premises (FL 04 37) and explain what activities fall outside premises coverage.
Before presenting it
Ask the carrier for the specimen and read it with FL 00 20 before explaining it to the insured.
How it fits the farm liability policy
A farm liability endorsement changes only the coverages it names (Coverage H bodily injury and property damage, Coverage I personal and advertising injury, Coverage J medical payments, or a coverage it adds). The rest of FL 00 20, including the definitions of "farming", "custom farming" and "insured location", continues to apply. When presenting a quote, list each farm liability endorsement and its schedule entries so the insured sees how the base form was broadened or narrowed.
