What it does

FB 10 74 is the unmanned aircraft exclusion for the Farm Umbrella Liability Policy, 06 25 edition, filed in ISO's 2024 farm revision.

Who needs it

Farms using drones; carriers attach it when they do not provide excess drone liability.

Quoting and selling notes

If the farm flies drones, confirm how primary drone liability is covered (FL 04 28 or aviation) and whether excess limits are available elsewhere.

Before presenting it

Ask the carrier for the specimen and read it with the underlying farm liability, auto and employers liability policies before explaining coverage to the insured.

How it fits

Umbrella exclusions apply on top of whatever the underlying farm liability, auto and employers liability policies exclude. When the same exposure is excluded at both levels the farm has no coverage for it in the farm program; when it is covered underlying but excluded in the umbrella, the coverage stops at the primary limit. Show the insured both layers side by side when explaining these endorsements.
