What it does
With respect to real estate operations, CG 22 60 provides coverage only for injury or damage arising out of (1) the part of any premises used for general office purposes, and (2) premises listed or shown for sale or rental, if the insured does not own, operate, manage or rent them, they are not in its care, custody or control, or it does not act as rent-collecting agent or in a supervisory capacity.
Who needs it
Real estate brokers whose rating class covers office and showing exposures only.
Key provisions and limits
- Property management and ownership exposures fall outside this limitation; they need their own classifications.
Quoting and selling notes
- If the agency also manages rentals, it needs property management classification and CG 22 70 rather than this limitation alone.
