What it does
CG 20 23 adds any executor, administrator, trustee or beneficiary of the named insured's estate or living trust as an additional insured while acting within the scope of their duties as such.
Who needs it
Real estate held in an estate or living trust, such as rental dwellings, small commercial buildings and land.
Key provisions and limits
- No schedule.
- Coverage applies only to the extent permitted by law.
- Contract-based limits: coverage is no broader than any contract requires, the most paid for the additional insured is the lesser of the contract-required amount or the policy limits, and the endorsement does not increase limits.
Quoting and selling notes
- Confirm the named insured is shown correctly (the trust or estate and trustee).
- Use with lessor's risk or dwelling classes; trustee professional liability is not covered.
