What it does
BP DS 02 is the Apartment Buildings Supplemental Schedule in the ISO Businessowners program. ISO describes it as a schedule that may be used when it is necessary to provide additional information that is not contained in the Declarations or in the Apartment Buildings endorsement. It has no coverage grant of its own; it carries the limits and selections for the apartment class endorsement.
Who needs it
Apartment owners and residential lessors written on a BOP where the carrier attaches BP 07 75, Apartment Buildings. ISO treats apartments (including residential condominium associations) as eligible in any size, so larger apartment schedules are common on this program.
Quoting and selling notes
- When BP 07 75 is on the policy, check that the supplemental schedule is completed; options left blank on a schedule usually mean the related coverage does not apply.
- Coordinate entries with the main declarations so building numbers, premises numbers and limits match.
- A separate New York version exists (BP DS 04) for New York apartment risks.
