What it does

BP 07 83 is the ISO class endorsement for photographers. ISO describes it as addressing the specialized coverage needs of photographer risks eligible for the BOP. Related options include a supplemental schedule of photographic equipment at scheduled limits, Photography – Makeup and Hairstyling (BP 07 84), which makes the professional services exclusion inapplicable to makeup and hairstyling provided in connection with the photography business, and Photography – Amendment of Coverage Territory for "Photographic Equipment" – Worldwide Coverage (BP 07 87).

Who needs it

Studio and mobile photographers, wedding and event photographers, and commercial photographers whose cameras and lenses travel with them.

Quoting and selling notes

  • Get an equipment list with values; high-value lenses and bodies often need scheduling.
  • Ask whether the studio offers makeup or styling; without BP 07 84 the professional services exclusion of BP 00 03 applies to personal grooming services.
  • Ask about travel outside the country before adding the worldwide territory option.
  • New York uses its own version (BP 07 88).
